Welcome to our Faith Community. Here you will experience a deeper understanding of your Catholic Christian Faith. Jesus Christ is our model of faith, hope and charity. In His Holy Name all things are possible.
We will proclaim the Good News of Jesus Christ using the Catechism of the Catholic Church as our guide and will follow the words of St. John Bosco as our motto: “Teach Love, Kindness and Religion,” so as to save souls for Jesus Christ.
We have many opportunities to volunteer and take part in the faith formation of our parish's children, and also to assist the RE Administrative Assistant with data entry and/or coordinating activities, workshops, First Communion receptions and the Annual End of the Year Family Picnic. Volunteers are required to attend an Ethics and Integrity in Ministry workshop and fill out an application with the Diocese.
Registration Information
New students
- You may register online or contact the RE office at 863-0799
- A copy of your child’s Baptismal certificate must be submitted to the RE Office.
- If you are new to the Parish and you wish to register as a parishioner you may contact the Church office at 863-3041.
Sacramental Preparation
- First Penance and First Eucharist will be celebrated in second grade.
- Students in third to twelve grades (3-12) who have not received the sacraments of First Reconciliation and First Eucharist are required to attend the Sacramental Preparation class on Tuesdays.
Please download the Sacrament Information and the Emergency Information forms in the Form Section, and mail with the Baptismal certificate(s) of your child(ren) with the appropriate fee to: St. Helen Catholic Church, 2700 E. University Ave., Georgetown, TX 78626

LATE REGISTRATION FEE: A late registration fee of $25.00 will be added to all registration processed on or after September 1st., unless it is accompanied by a letter of transfer from an out of town parish.
