Time: 7-8:30 pm
Where: Part 1- St. Rita room 223, Part 2- St. Helen Church
What: Time is a funny thing. We want it to speed up, slow down, stop completely, and yet we know have no control. Did you know that God has his own time? Chronos is the time we run out of. Kairos is the time we are heading towards. The Church has put together a calendar to make the most of our Chronos, in order to live in the Kairos. That's called the Liturgical Calendar.
Part 1: Join Russell Hoyt in SRAC 223 to learn about the difference between our time and God's time. Also we will go in depth into the liturgical calendar to try an understand why the Church celebrates what she does, when she does.
Part 2: Join Fr. Will Straten, Sem. Callan Sweeney, Russell Hoyt as we walk through the Church buildling and learn about the different physical features, sacred vessels, and architectural theology. Learn about how our worship unites Chronos with Kairos.
