"Lord, send out your Spirit, and renew the face of the earth."
Psalm 104
Fulfilling the Great Commission of Jesus by making disciples of Jesus Christ, disciples who will help others to become disciples of Jesus and therefore will multiply to the ends of the earth until the end of time. This multiplication of the love and life of Christ in the disciples will allow the Holy Spirit set the world on fire for the love of God and neighbors.
In John 15:4-5, Jesus says, "Remain in me, as I remain in you. Just as a branch cannot bear fruit on its own unless it remains on the vine, so neither can you unless you remain in me. I am the vine, you are the branches. Whoever remains in me and I in him will bear much fruit, because without me you can do nothing."
Without God, we cannot do anything. St. Helen's seeks to bring parishioners into a deeper, more personal relationship with God with an enriched understanding of our faith through prayer and reflections.
All ministries and opportunities for prayer, sacraments, and study are rooted in our parish’s celebration of the Sacrifice of the Mass on Sunday when we gather to celebrate the Eucharist, which we believe is the source and summit of our Christian lives.
